Q. HOW DOES E-SAVE WORK?
A. E-SAVE is like a space blanket. Unlike mass insulation which only slows down heat transfer, E-SAVE reflects heat back to the heat source. To stop radiant heat you must reflect it with E-SAVE.
Q. DO I HAVE TO REMOVE MY EXHISTING INSULATION?
A. No. E-SAVE is placed over your old insulation and will make your current insulation more effective.
Q. CAN E-SAVE CAUSE A MOISTURE PROBLEM?
A. No. E-SAVE is perforated 3/4" in every direction which allows it to breath and moisture to escape through your insulation.
Q. WILL E-SAVE MAKE MY HOME MORE COMFORTABLE?
A. Yes. Absolutely! By reflecting the radiant heat transfer in summer and winter, your home will be cooler during summer months and warmer during winter months.
Q. IS E-SAVE EXPENSIVE?
A. No. E-SAVE is so effective that over a short period of time it will pay for itself through the reduction of your energy consumption. Lowering your energy consumption means LOWERING YOUR ENERGY BILLS!!
Q. If I ALREADY HAVE A LOT OF INSULATION IN MY ATTIC DO I STILL NEED E-SAVE?
A. Yes. Mass insulation only slows down the conduction and convection of heat transfer. E-SAVE will aid in that as well due to our fiberglass core, BUT the aluminum shell on E-SAVE will reflect the radiant heat back to the heat source!! Mass insulation CAN NOT do that!!
E-SAVE can be installed by the homeowner or the contractor of the homeowner's choice. Depending on your location professional company trained installation may be available.
In addition to single family homes, E-SAVE can be used in multi-family dwellings, condos and commercial buildings as well.
